This will ensure that you are choosing the mortgage program that is just right for you. First Time Homebuyer Mortgage Fixed Rate Mortgage
Adjustable Rate Mortgage One, three, and five year programs are available, all with various point features, as well as annual and lifetime rate caps that keeps your interest rate protected by limiting the maximum rate you can be charged. Adjustable rate mortgage loans are available whether you are refinancing or purchasing your home. Construction Mortgage We have many construction loan programs featuring various down payment, point options and interest rate choices. And, you pay interest only on the amounts advanced as you build. Best of all, when your home is complete your construction mortgage automatically converts to a permanent loan, without a second closing. Making the Most of Your Home Equity You have the ability to apply for as little as $5,000 or as much as $200,000. And, there is never a prepayment penalty on a First Citizens' Home Equity Loan. Fixed Rate Home Equity Your interest rate can be locked in at the time of application and is guaranteed for 30 days. We offer terms up to 15 years, very competitive interest rates, and low closing cost options. Convertible Home Equity Line of Credit Our Equity Line of Credit offers more flexibility and lets you control how much you borrow against your approved credit line. You decide when to borrow, then access your Line of Credit by simply writing a check. You will receive the same benefits of the Equity Line of Credit account coupled with the advantage of "converting" your adjustable rate to a fixed rate at any time during the term of your loan. The converted outstanding balance can be repaid over a maximum term of ten years, (not to exceed the original term of the loan). **There is no conversion fee to switch your outstanding balance to fixed principal and interest payments. The interest rate is the Wall Street Journal Prime Rate plus 0% as quoted on the last business day of each month. The maximum Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is 18%. Repayment options during the draw period (up to ten years) include interest only, or interest plus .50% of the outstanding principal balance or $100, whichever is greater. The maximum loan term is 20 years. The line will be assessed an annual maintenance fee of $50.00 which will be waived for the first year. It is available upon request by contacting the credit union by telephone. **You will waive your ability to access any unadvanced portion of your credit line should you choose to exercise the conversion option.
